Samsung i900 OMNIA dengan Windows Mobile

Samsung meluncurkan produk terbarunya Samsung i900 OMNIA. Smartphone bersistem operasi Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro ini akan beredar di Asia pada pertangahan bulan Juni, sedangkan di Eropa pada bulan Juli. Dengan produk tersebut, semakin menunjukan kekuatan dari pabrikan asal Korea ini.

Berlayar 3.2 inch touch screen WideQVGA display (240 x 400 pixels), pengguna akan merasakan kelegaan untuk menelusuri semua menu yang diberikan. Tambahan pula, device ini mendukung layanan 3G, HSDPA 7,2 Mbps, dan EDGE, sehingga pengguna akan dimanjakan dalam hal browsing internet berkecepatan tinggi.

Untuk menandingi smartphone lain seperti iPhone, LG Viewty, Sony Ericsson K850i, Samsung i900 OMNIA dilengkapi dengan kamera 5 Megapixel dengan auto-focus, face and smile detection dan geotagging, didukung dengan memori internal 8GB dan 16 GB ditambah memori eksternal microSD sampai dengan 16GB.

Fitur lain yang membuat smartphone ini sangat layak dipertimbangkan adalah adanya layanan GPS, Radio FM dengan RDS dan Bluetooth yang mendukung A2DP.

Foxconn PD-W1001, the Pocket DLP Projector

Foxconn exposed its PD-W1001 during Computex 2008, the ultra-small DLP projector. This tiny projector is smaller than handset.

Foxconn PD-W1001 features a 0.3-inch DLP chip from Texas Instruments, WVGA (854 x 480) resolution and 25 Lm. The dimension is 55- x 46- x 26-millimeter that weighs just 65-grams, even it can be stored in our pocket. This smallest projector is expected to be available in 2Q of 2009.

Power and Associates U.S. Wireless Mobile Phone Evaluation StudySM, for the second consecutive time, ranked Sony Ericsson as the highest in U.S. overall customer satisfaction performance among wireless mobile phone brands in the 2008 . Sony Ericsson was previously ranked highest in the same study during periods of 2006 and 2007.

Achieving score of 740 In this 2008 Vol. 1 Mobile Phone Study, Sony Ericsson ranked highest among mobile phone brands. The score is significantly higher than industry average. In all factors,Sony Ericsson received significantly higher than industry average scores which included physical design, operation, features and battery function.

J.D. Power and Associates measured customers’ satisfaction with wireless handsets based on five key product performance factors; physical design, operation, features, handset durability and battery function.

Take Fujitsu F706i While Diving? Yes, it is a waterproof mobile phone. Divers can take this handheld up to 3 meters depth. Not only a phone, this handset is a mobile TV as well. I'm not sure if we may watch TV programs underwater with it. It needs a very strong signal receiver. Taking picture with its 2 MP camera underwater seems more reasonable than watching TV. Motorola ZN5, XPERL or something it’s called runs on MOTOMAGX Linux platform features Quad Band GSM, WiFi, 100MB internal memory, memory slot and 5-way navigational wheel of ROKR’s. The shaking thing is that the mobile phone has 5 MP camera with no auto focus, means, user may focus manually. Motorola wants to show a new technology it has.

Spending $549.99 (or $299.99 on contract) for LG’s Vu is reasonable enough? Does the price give you hardware and software satisfaction? Just let me know, give your opinion on that.
