On November 27, 2008, HTC, the smartphone producer from Hong Kong launches its newest product HTC Touch HD. This device is built to focus on the entertainment purpose.

Supporting the multimedia experience, the device is equipped with 3.8 inch wide-screen VGA display (WVGA), a standard 3.5mm audio jack. 5 megapixel camera is giving the user readiness to capture every moment. this camera is better than Nokia 5800 Xpress Music that is only 3.2 mp.

Nokia's newest Phone the Nokia 6260 slide is tagged "made for high speed sharing ." Why is it tagged so? This phone is built to make people easily share his photograph, videos, check on a friend's social network status or be guided to a restaurant to meet up with a loved one.

To ease using the phone, it is equipped with 360° navi-key that make navigation as easy as moving your thumb. Nokia also claims that uploading to websites will be faster than ever. 6260 slide is also equipped with wi-fi so that connection through hotspot is able when the wireless network is available.

T-Mobile G1, the first Android PhoneIt's been 2 months since T-Mobile launched G1, the first Google android phone, no problem occur yet. It seems that the platform is doing its job well. this increase Google reputation as the upcoming mobile developer.

however, there are three main problem regarding occur, they are:
– how many carriers are really going to offer Android phones?
– how will users find Android applications?
– how will developers convince users to take a chance and download their app?

but I believe those problem will soon be solved. That just common problem when a new program is launched.

T-mobile tagged G1 as the Phone that's built for internet. I believe this phone is going to be a star for the phone market. applications for Android will be created to complete the collection.

The New iPod Got Reviewed

Business Week had review the new iPod. Here's the review:

The Good:
the new iPod has Built-in Wi-Fi for music downloads and Web access, large screen, a wealth of applications. those features really ease the user to download music whenever wireless connection is available. The large screen also a plus to watch our multimedia files. It just great.

The Bad:
As a multimedia handset it has poor external speaker. business Week that the external speaker is underpowered. Maybe Apple wants the user to hear through headset.

The Bottom Line:
A poor man's iPhone, the Touch offers wireless music downloads, mobile Web access, and hundreds of applications while on the go.

Nokia has announced its newest application to be added as 2008 Forum Nokia Innovation Series program. Those nine mobile applications are developed by mobile application developers from Asia, Europe and the Americas. Of course, they will enrich Nokia applications and as ammunition for the company to win the market.

Nokia is seriously to be the top brand in the entire world. The newest Nokia laboratory is established at Hollywood, California. This lab is aimed to make great loop in the technology development.


Why Nokia chose California to be its lab is explained by Rebecca Allen, Laboratory Director of NRC Hollywood. "Hollywood has an enormous variety of academic institutions, innovative media businesses and unique creative talent. It offers exactly the right ingredients for research into topics that will be vital for Nokia's business in the future. The link with the movie industry is naturally strong, however the entertainment concepts we will be working on at the NRC Hollywood laboratory are even more diverse. The laboratory will explore new entertainment experiences that combine the physical and digital worlds. Our research work will focus on mixed reality experiences, with a strong community flavor.
