What is Python?
Python is an open scripting language for many purpose. It can be used as well as in quick application prototyping as running software test cases. The tools enable rapid application development and prototyping, and the ability to create stand-alone S60 applications written in Python.
Python is claimed simple and easy to learn, yet powerful, portable Windows, Unix operation system, others), extensible (C, C++ and others) SWIG and BoostPython help for functionality and speed, integrates well with native C/C++ environments, lots of third party modules available and easy to read and maintain.
Where to get Python?
The oficial web is www.python.org. At sourceforge.net available Python SDKs and Python device libraries for several S60 edition.
